For more than 40 years, UTA has provided public bus service to customers throughout the Wasatch Front. Currently, UTA serves riders in Box Elder, Davis, Salt Lake, Tooele, Utah and Weber counties - an area covering more than 1,400 square miles. In 2010, UTA provided about 22 million trips on more than 650 buses. The fleet includes hybrid-electric buses, ski buses, over-the-road coaches and more than 100 Paratransit buses. Three times a year, in April, August and December, UTA reassesses route efficiencies and may adjust some routes and schedules to better meet changes in transit patterns.
