Clinton Community College (CCC) is a two-year community college located in Clinton, Iowa, founded in 1946. Initially serving veterans returning from World War II, CCC is part of the Eastern Iowa Community Colleges system. The college offers a range of educational programs, including Associate in Arts/College Transfer Classes, Career Technology Programs, and Continuing Education courses aimed at personal and professional development. The main campus is situated at 1000 Lincoln Boulevard, with additional facilities including the CCC Technology Center and the Maquoketa Center, which provide various educational opportunities. CCC also has intercollegiate athletics, featuring mens basketball and womens volleyball teams known as the Cougars. The Paul B. Sharar Foundation supports the college by providing scholarships and funding for students and faculty, enhancing the educational experience at CCC. On September 27, 2022, FedNat Insurance Company ("FNIC") was placed into receivership by the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (OIR). The Florida Department of Financial Services (DFS) now has authority over FNICs operations; including bank accounts. The Department is currently gathering claim files and claim data to forward the information to applicable GAs.
