Green Automotive Company is a state-of-the-art niche vehicle design, engineering, manufacturing company, driving innovation in the use of cutting edge technologies to produce zero and low emission vehicles. Its roots can be found in the European business, Liberty Electric Cars, which built the first all electric luxury 4×4 in the UK in 2009, the Liberty e-Range, based on the Range Rover platform. The Company went on to participate in a number of UK government-sponsored and European Union grant-based research programs aimed at developing and improving next generation electric vehicle solutions, thus positioning itself as a leader in clean transport engineering. Since then, the company has begun to focus its ambitions on developing, manufacturing and selling the finest range of shuttle buses from its subsidiary Newport Coachworks in Riverside, California, initially for the North American market, but ultimately for export too. As its expertise in the design and development of proprietary electric vehicle drive train solutions has continued to grow, it’s natural that these advances would find their way into its shuttle bus production. Recently launched by GAC’s Californian business, the E-Patriot, and (soon to be launched) the E-Atlas, epitomize this progress, and underline GAC’s commitment to All American clean transport solutions. In addition GAC has the capability to create conversion programs for internal combustion engine vehicles turning them into either pure electric, or hybrid electric vehicles.
