The Becket Family of Services is an alliance of nonprofit agencies founded in 1964 by Marine Sergeant John J. Wolter Ed. D., with the goal of helping struggling adolescents find a “zest for life" and succeed in the “business of life.” Inspired by Dr. Wolter`s pragmatic and comprehensive vision, Becket has evolved to serve a range of youth and adults in various settings throughout central and northern New England. Our programs and services include home and community based treatment and support, residential treatment programs, group homes, and special education schools. Becket is known for its ability to achieve successful outcomes with difficult-to-serve individuals.
Valley Baptist Health System has earned a reputation as a health care leader with our dedicated staff, modern facilities, state-of-the-art technology, and commitment to providing for the health of our community. Today, our not-for-profit health system is one of the largest in South Texas with more than 800 beds. Valley Baptist is a community health service performing spiritually-based health, education and charitable programs in accordance with the teachings and healing ministry of Jesus Christ. Incorporating the latest in technology with a commitment to compassionate, faith-based care, both Valley Baptist Medical Center-Harlingen and Valley Baptist Medical Center-Brownsville have established a reputation for serving Valley residents like nowhere else! Every day, for more than 80 years, lives have been saved simultaneously at both the hospital in Brownsville and the hospital in Harlingen. The histories of the two hospitals parallel each other, as both are stories of caring people reaching out to help the sick and dying, in service to their communities. North Valley Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital located in beautiful Whitefish, Montana. The hospital opened its current facility in 2007 on a 45 acre campus and serves a population of 30,000 people in the Flathead Valley area. North Valley Hospital employs 450 people in the area and has approximately 160 active, courtesy, and consulting physicians on staff in addition to a community trauma center and 24/7 emergency, lab, and imaging departments. The hospital was the first in the area to acquire a DaVinci Robot for surgery. Also, in 2015, our spa-like birth center welcomed 541 newborns. North Valley Hospital is a Planetree certified facility, and the hospital and all outreach clinics practice the Planetree healthcare philosophy of patient centered care in a healing environment.
