Community Options, Inc. is a national nonprofit organization that develops innovative housing and employment opportunities for people with developmental disabilities. Since 1989, we have moved people with disabilities from segregated, unlawful institutions across the country into community-based homes where they can fully participate in their communities and experience a greatly improved quality of life. We have designed and implemented the most progressive employment options giving people with disabilities a choice about the type of work they do and where they do it. We offer people with disabilities real work for real pay. Community Options contracts with 38 separate government entities is supported by more than 4,000 staff in programs throughout ten states: Arizona, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas and South Carolina.

Triad Goodwill operates retail stores, Community Resource Centers, and Career Centers to serve Alamance, Caswell, Guilford, Randolph and Rockingham Counties. Triad Goodwill collects donated items, sells them in stores, and uses the revenue to fund job training and career services. Our Community Resource Centers and Career Centers offer resume assistance, computer training, career counseling, job search assistance, evaluations, vocational skills classes, and many other services to unemployed and underemployed job seekers, vocational rehabilitation clients, department of social services clients, and other local residents.
