The Vice President of Total Rewards is responsible for areas of base and variable pay, short and long term incentives, health and welfare plans, 401-k plan, and retirement plan(s) across the entire organization. This position manages recognition programs and other more innovative strategies (such as job leveling) core to this leader`s execution strategy. The Vice President of Total Rewards works in partnership with the organization`s executive HR team (EHR) including Strategic HR and Delivery Services and HR Administration to design Total Reward offerings that will maximize employee engagement and drive organizational margins.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor`s degree (BS/BA) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Organizational Development is required
• MS/MBA preferred
• 15+ years of related compensation and benefits experience
• 10+ years Total Rewards leadership experience with direct Compensation Committee experience.
• Healthcare experience preferred
• A deep understanding, developed through experience, of the Compensation & Benefits landscape.
• Highly developed interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, influence, listen, instruct, give clear feedback, and ask good questions
• A proven track record of building and developing a highly motivated and competent team capable of effectively supporting the organization
• Very strong results-orientation, follow-up and attention to detail
• Ability to generate results through influence in a matrix environment with multiple and diverse stakeholders
• Demonstrated capability to interact directly with C-level leaders – both internally and externally
• Proven experience developing and continually advancing base and variable pay structure, incentives, bonus programs, and administrative guidelines based on business needs and long range objectives
• Demonstrated track record of success in applying marketplace insights – from a variety of different channels - to appropriately adjust programs and enhance business results
• Strong strategic acumen and planning capabilities
• Excellent business acumen and judgment with the ability to juggle numerous projects simultaneously
• A creative problem-solver with the ability to make sound decisions based on facts
• Strong network of Total Reward professionals to benchmark and to share with in order to calibrate compensation and benefits options
