Yellowstone Forever is the official nonprofit partner of Yellowstone National Park. We partner with Yellowstone National Park to create opportunities for all people to experience, enhance, and preserve Yellowstone forever.
Founded in 2002, the Young Women`s Preparatory Network is a nonprofit agency that partners with public school districts across the state of Texas to operate the largest network of all-girls, public, college preparatory schools in the nation. Our schools are located in struggling urban neighborhoods and have proven to be very successful. The schools have won multiple academic achievement awards, including being recognized amongst the top public schools in Texas and the nation. YWPN formed the first public/private partnership with the Dallas Independent School District in August 2004, opening the Irma Lerma Rangel Young Women`s Leadership School, the first all-girls` public school in Texas. Since then, YWPN has opened schools in Austin, Fort Worth, Grand Prairie, Houston, Lubbock and San Antonio, serving more than 4,200 young women. Ysleta ISD in El Paso will open in 2016. Because of the success of the first school in Dallas, this school model is being replicated throughout the state, as a catalyst for positive educational change.
The Himalayan Cataract Project (HCP) is an independent, non-profit organization established to eradicate preventable blindness worldwide. We pursue this mission by delivering high-quality care, training local personnel and establishing world-class eye care infrastructure. The HCP was founded in 1995 by two intrepid ophthalmologists - Drs. Sanduk Ruit and Geoffrey Tabin - focused on eradicating unnecessary blindness due to cataracts in the Himalayan region. Today, HCP has expanded to provide eye care, infrastructure support and training for international populations in more than 16 countries throughout Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa, has trained eye care personnel from more than 40 countries, and has procured equipment and supplies for programs in more than 37 countries.
Our mission is to empower communities and persons affected by HIV/AIDS in the state of Indiana by being a leading resource, provider, and advocate for comprehensive HIV/AIDS care, prevention, education, and related services. We envision Central Indiana free of the suffering caused by HIV/AIDS. Until then, we envision that every HIV-affected person in Central Indiana knows that The Damien Center is a safe and welcoming place so that no barriers separate people from the services they need to prolong and enhance their lives. The Damien Center offers vital supportive, preventive, and medical services to those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS so they may live abundant and productive lives.
