VitaKey

VitaKey`s technology platform provides for a wide range of advanced encapsulations triggered by desired pH levels or other stimuli. Our technology delivers targeted and time-controlled release of micronutrients, vitamins, probiotics, nutraceuticals, antioxidants, proteins and amino acids, and flavors, as well as excellent bioavailability.

Univercells

Univercells is a technology company offering novel biomanufacturing platforms, aimed at increasing the availability and affordability of biologics – recombinant proteins and vaccines - for all. Univercells designs innovative production processes to significantly decrease the size of the necessary equipment and facility, for a lower capital and operational cost. The company`s process intensification and integration technology entails smaller footprint and unit cost while offering flexible capabilities, from small to large batches. Deployment of affordable production units enables `in-country, for-country` biologics production, creating value for manufacturers and healthcare systems with cost efficiency and local supply while increasing patients` access to healthcare. Univercells was founded in 2013 by experienced entrepreneurs Hugues Bultot, CEO, and José Castillo, CTO, who bring close to 25 years of expertise in the biotechnology and life sciences sectors. Headquartered in Gosselies (Belgium), Univercells benefits from support from the Walloon region, and received €3 million from Takeda in 2015. Most recently, the company was awarded a $12 million grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Immunovant

Immunovant is a biopharmaceutical company committed to developing innovative therapies that not only treat the symptoms, but modify the course of autoimmune diseases. Our primary investigational product candidate is RVT-1401, a human recombinant anti-FcRn monoclonal antibody that is being developed with a focus on patient need, and may be applicable to a wide array of autoimmune diseases. We are currently assessing RVT-1401 in a single and multiple ascending dose Phase 1 clinical trial. We plan on initiating a number of patient-based studies in early 2019, focusing on Myasthenia gravis (MG) and other IgG-mediated diseases. We also seek to continue expanding our pipeline, ultimately transforming the lives of patients with autoimmune diseases.

Elicio

Elicio is committed to transforming the lives of patients and their families by re-engineering the body`s immune response to cancer. By combining expertise in materials science and immunology, Elicio is engineering potent vaccines and immuno-therapies for an array of aggressive cancers. The Elicio Amphiphile platform enables precise targeting and delivery of immunogens directly to the lymphatic system, the “brain center” of the immune response, to significantly amplify and enhance the body`s own system of defenses, to defeat cancer and stop its recurrence. This substantially enhanced anti-tumor functionality and long-term protective memory could unlock the full potential of the human immune response to eliminate cancer. Elicio`s lead Amphiphile vaccines targeting pancreatic, colorectal, and head and neck cancer will begin initial patient studies in early 2020. Elicio was founded to expand and apply the ground-breaking Amphiphile technology invented and developed in the labs of Darrell Irvine Ph.D., Professor of Biological Engineering and Materials Sciences and Howard Hughes Investigator, at the Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Preclinical studies have demonstrated that Elicio`s Amphiphile vaccines target and concentrate in the lymph nodes resulting in unprecedented tumor-specific immune responses and durable cures of aggressive tumor models in mice.
