Ensemble Performing Arts is a partnership of community-focused music and dance businesses that maintain individual identities while sharing resources to ensure their mutual success. We believe that a performing arts education is a lifelong journey and is appropriate for individuals of all ages and skill levels. While many of our teachers are equipped to serve students with collegiate and professional ambitions, and we celebrate our students with these meritorious goals, we are equally delighted to work with students of all abilities seeking to enrich their lives through the performing arts. While our focus always begins with safe classroom practices and healthy technique, what follows thereafter depends on a students unique interests, abilities, and ambitions. ShareWaves Overview: We continue to build a youth sports foundation that provides positive, game-changing solutions for children in under-resourced communities. We are helping kids play the games they love. Who We Are: ShareWaves is a 501c3 public charity working to deliver high-quality sports experiences to kids in under-resourced communities. Launched almost 3 years ago, ShareWaves is targeting children from any home that experiences multi-layered barriers to sports access and are less likely to receive the support they need. Our Why? The gap between "the haves" and the "have nots" is getting wider. Without access to sports and structured play, kids miss critical benefits, including physical health, social-emotional growth, and academic development. Emergent Issue!!! COVID restrictions further limited access to organized sports and extracurricular activities causing kids to lose an entire year of life-skill development, social interactions, and academic interruptions. ShareWaves is targeting several ways to help kids recover by delivering tangible impact to children suffering and delivering programs of significance to kids in need. 5 Key Initiatives: 1. Provide micro-funding grants to assist in connecting kids to high-quality sports experiences. 2. Build #Ready2Play Training Experiences for Kids and the #Ready2Play app. 3. Create digital content that showcases the "power of sports" to transform young lives. 4. Lead the formation of a KC Youth Sports Alliance (KC-YSA) 5. Host high-energy, one-of-a-kind events that raise awareness and support our mission. Children in our city need us now more than ever as they experience an avalanche of pressure this fall returning from extended periods of social isolation, educational uncertainty, and inactivity caused by COVID. We work to develop strong impact partnerships with like-minded individuals and organizations that want help kids heal.
Were developing tech to feed the world. The world is running out of phosphorus. Most of the worlds phosphorus is used to grow food to feed to animals to produce meat. Manure isnt returned to growing regions, and instead leads to algal blooms and nutrient pollution. Were fixing this problem with tech to produce fertilizer from manure, helping farmers grow better food at a price farmers can afford.
