Humber River Hospital is one of Canada`s largest regional acute care hospitals, serving a catchment area of more than 850,000 people in the northwest GTA. The hospital currently operates on three sites with a total of 549 beds, 3,000 staff, approximately 700 physicians and 400 volunteers. Affiliated with the University of Toronto and Queen`s University, the hospital is home to Ontario`s first Centre of Excellence for laparoscopic bariatric surgery; Canada`s first home nocturnal dialysis program and a major cancer program. Humber River`s redevelopment plan, approved by the provincial government, saw the official groundbreaking ceremony take place on December 2, 2011. The new Humber River will be Ontario`s first digital hospital, one that Humber River plans to make a technological and environmental showcase. HOK, one of the world`s leading healthcare design teams, has been retained to provide the design compliance services for the new hospital project. Serving residents and visitors in Franklin County Florida, George E. Weems Memorial Hospital wants you to know "Help is Here!" Though Franklin County is a rural area, you don't need to travel to a large urban hospital for care. The Emergency Department at Weems Hospital is well-equipped and open 24 hours a day, everyday. Should more invasive care become necessary, Weems Hospital has a fleet of ground ambulances with well-trained paramedics and EMTs. A helipad is located on site should emergency air transport be required. If you are having what you suspect is cardiac or pulmonary distress, Weems Emergency staff are ready to assist you within minutes. Recent studies show the average Weems patient is seen in the emergency room and released within one hour and fifty minutes of his/her coming through the hospital door. Our hospital also has 25 inpatient beds which are available for 23 hour extended observation, acute in-patient care and short-term skilled nursing care & rehabilitation.
Trillium Health has a 30-year history of providing integrated, personalized primary and specialty medical care to people from diverse communities. Patients and clients can come to one location to participate in a full range of programs to support their health and well-being. Trillium Health extends services and programs into the community through education, support, and direct access to treatment. Formerly known as AIDS Care, Trillium Health has expanded its offerings to serve HIV negative patients, including women and the LGBT community. The main office is located at 259 Monroe Avenue in Rochester, NY. Satellite offices are located in Bath, Geneva and on Central Avenue in downtown Rochester.
