Today, EPRD serves approximately 22,000 people within the communities of Evergreen, Bergen Park, Indian Hills, Kittredge, and Marshdale, and many more without. The District is one of the largest in the state, covering 50,000 acres (78 square miles) in the foothills west of Denver. It is governed by a Board of Directors elected by residents of the District.
