Gardens Regional Hospital and Medical Center formerly doing business as Tri-City Regional Medical Center was recognized in 2012 by Consumer Reports Magazine, ranking as one of the top five safest hospitals in the Los Angeles Metropolitan area. In addition, the hospital was ranked number two in the U.S. for the lowest mortality rate for patients with pneumonia by Becker`s Hospital Review Magazine based on data from the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS).
