Monomoy Regional School District is a community of learners of all ages focused on building knowledge, positive character, and resiliency in a safe, supportive, creative, and challenging environment. The district encompasses the towns of Chatham and Harwich on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The schools in our district are Chatham Elementary School, Harwich Elementary School, Monomoy Regional Middle School (located in Chatham) and Monomoy Regional High School (located in Harwich). To affect meaningful change with Baby Box programs requires thoughtful integration of Baby Box distribution into the existing community infrastructure and providing parents with universal access to education materials. At our core, we strongly believe that community is transformational and that people working together have the ability to improve maternal and infant health trends. To this end, we have an internal education department at The Baby Box Co. which works in close partnership with local healthcare professionals to ensure that our programs are tailored to the unique needs of every community we serve. The Baby Box is an incredible intervention tool that is so much more than a singular safe sleep resource; it is an incentive for mothers to seek regular prenatal check-ups and it is a precious opportunity for healthcare providers to engage more effectively with new parents in their care.
