Florence USD is located in the far east valley in the Phoenix metropolitan area, specifically Florence and San Tan Valley. The district has earned national and even international acknowledgement for the use of educational technology, which has been successfully integrated to facilitate curriculum and support classroom performance. Florence USD has seven K-8 schools, two high schools, an online school, an alternative school and a school for students with severe emotional disabilities.
