Founded in 1999, StorageMart grew to more than 60 storage properties by 2006. In 2008, the company acquired a publicly traded Canadian storage company, nearly doubling its size by adding another 62 storage facilities to its portfolio. Today, StorageMart provides self storage throughout the U.S. and Canada, with 165 storage facilities in North America, providing more 8 million net rentable square feet, collecting in excess of $155 million in annual revenue. In addition to renting self storage units, StorageMart sells moving and packing supplies in every storage office.
