The Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center (LCHD) is an agency that is accredited by the Public Health Accreditation Board, the Illinois state Department of Public Health, and the Joint Commission. Our goal as an agency is to continue to push the boundaries of what innovation looks like for a public health department that includes environmental health, health promotion and prevention, population health, behavioral health and primary care clinics.
