We are also Maryland`s only non-profit health insurance cooperative, a CO-OP. This means that our Board of Directors includes members of Evergreen Health. It means we reinvest our profits back into our company and back into better coverage and better benefits. We answer to our members, not corporate shareholders. Quite simply it means we put people first, not profits. Unlike our competitors, we were able to reduce our premiums for our 2015 individual plans by an average of 10%.
