The National Mango Board (NMB) is a national industry funded agriculture promotion group that focuses on promotion and research for U.S. and imported fresh mangos. Our mission is to increase consumption of fresh mangos in the U.S. by inspiring consumers and educating them about the culture, flavor, and nutrition of mangos, while bringing the industry together. The NMB is guided by Board Members made up of industry leaders; 8 Importers, 7 Foreign Producers, 2 Domestic Producers and 1 First-handler. Board Members serve three-year terms and can be nominated for two concurrent terms. The Board Members create the Strategic Plan, approve yearly budgets and are hands-on in the creation of programs; all addressing our mission of increasing the awareness and consumption of fresh mangos in the U.S.
