Established in 1804, Ohio University is the oldest university in the Northwest Territory. Located in Athens, OH, the University has earned a reputation for its rich educational tradition and outstanding academic programs. Pikes Peak Community College is in its 47th year of operation and has been accredited by the Higher Learning Commission since 1975. It is a two-year college offering 158 associate degrees and various certifications in career and technical fields. With four campuses and two military education centers in El Paso County, PPCC serves approximately 21,000 students annually.
Part of the Rancho Santiago Community College District (RSCCD), Santa Ana College (SAC) serves nearly 40,000 credit and non-credit students each semester and offers 136 certificate and associate degree programs. SAC serves the residents of Anaheim Hills, East Garden Grove, Irvine, Orange, Santa Ana, Tustin and Villa Park.
