As Canada`s leading polytechnic, SAIT is world-renowned for its training expertise and is the leading provider of skilled employees to the energy sector and other industries. SAIT Polytechnic delivers relevant, skill-oriented education to more than 75,000 registrants annually. SAIT offers two full baccalaureate degrees, 82 certificate, diploma and applied degree programs, 30-plus apprenticeships and 1,675 continuing education and corporate training courses. SAIT works closely with industry to ensure graduate success - 94 per cent of 2012 graduates were employed within six months.
Beacon College exists to offer academic degree programs to students with learning disabilities, ADHD and other learning differences. Beacon was established in 1989 by a group of parents who were concerned by the lack of higher-education opportunities for students with learning disabilities. Education support services include a Writing Center and a Math lab equipped with assistive technology, learning specialists, life coaches, counselors, peer mentors, and occupational therapists available to assist students with their academic and personal goals.
