Chief Marketing Officer
The Chief Marketing Officer is an integral member of the leadership team, serving as a strategic leader and trusted advisor across the company. Leads development and execution of marketing and communications strategy in support of company strategies. The CMO is a high profile role with significant internal and external exposure and influence. Key job functions include:
• Provides exceptional leadership in developing highly engaged, high performance teams.
• Establishes overall strategy and vision for marketing and communications.
• Leads brand architecture and management.
• Collaborates with Sales, Strategy, and Product groups and directs development of marketing strategies, programs, and materials.
• Develops B2B and B2C product marketing strategy and implements a dynamic marketing approach.
• Collaborates with and provides leadership to senior marketing leaders and PR/Marketing partners across owner banks to ensure a cohesive strategy which support collective interests.
• Directs all aspects of public relations, media including social media, promotions and advertising.
• Directs marketing research group responsible for brand awareness and customer satisfaction measurement.
• Maintains knowledge of the industry dynamics, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment.
• Develops a strong network with external customers and industry analysts and creates executive presence within strategic organizations.
• In partnership with CFO, develops messaging of Board materials and presents/interacts with the Board.
• Complies with all security policies and procedures, to ensure that the highest level of system and data confidentiality, integrity and availability is maintained.

• Extensive marketing and brand experience with deep understanding of B2B and B2C marketing within the financial services and payments industry
• Experience in developing, launching and driving corporate branding
• Demonstrated success building strategic branding and marketing campaigns which drive revenue in direct and channel environments
• Well established thought leader with notable contacts and relationships with strategic industry, media, regulatory, analyst, and customer entities
• Strong PR experience with demonstrated success managing tier 1 media agencies
• Creative, dynamic leader with a passion for innovation and effective application of emerging trends
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Ability to develop strong internal and external relationships, interact effectively with the Board, and influence and lead multiple external strategic partners
• Academic credentials including equivalent of an undergraduate degree in business, marketing, communications or related field
• User interface agency management and experience desired
• Approved background and drug screen is required
