Whether it`s a private label, co-manufacturing or branded option, we`re big enough for efficiency, but small enough that quality isn`t compromised. All our products are created around a common theme: our desire to provide high quality, nutritious, on-trend foods that deliver the best in fiesta worthy flavor. Since the Mi Rancho grocery store first opened its doors in 1939, hard work and passion have brought us success, as we now produce over 4.5 million tortillas a day, roughly 1.3 billion tortillas each year. We employ true artisan bakers and professionals, with some of our employees having worked here as long as I have. Remaining loyal to our roots, we only use California corn and flour. While we have grown, we refuse to grow into a “tortilla factory.” Just like we did so many years ago, we continue to follow the authentic techniques to produce delicious tortillas I’m proud to serve to my own family. When we created Urban Plates, our goal was simple: To use the best ingredients possible to create wholesome, delicious food that`s prepared before our guests` eyes just the way they want it.
