VesselVanguard was conceived and created by Don Hyde, an experienced sailor and technology entrepreneur. As the owner of an Island Packet 485, Don experienced the frustrations of assimilating the full range of details found in 35 pounds of manuals in order to maintain his boat at the peak of performance and functionality. The design for this simple yet innovative service results from exhaustive interviews with owners, manufacturers, dealers, brokers and service personnel. The increasing complexity and sophistication of today's boats requires greater adherence to the manufacturer's suggested maintenance schedules. VesselVanguard makes this entire process simple and assures optimum performance both on the water and at the dock. Our mission is to fill in the knowledge gap so that boaters approach each on-water experience with confidence and control. VesselVanguard enables the boat-owner to enhance their stewardship of the boat while also preserving its value. The systems designed into a boat by an imaginative boat maker, and choices later made by an owner, are intended to function together to create a safe and comfortable on-board environment. VesselVanguard understands this and its purpose is to decrease the complexity of understanding and maintaining all these systems. This level of acute care delivers the most important and indefinable reality to the boat-owner: Peace of Mind and More Time on the Water.
Fellow MDC Partners network firms Crispin Porter + Bogusky and Zig have joined forces creating CP+B Canada. The new firm will operate solely as a CP+B office.
In today`s world fraught with social media noise, automated marketing, and technological overload we know that effective marketing campaigns must cut through the spammy chatter to build authentic relationships in a human-to-human way. Whether building those relationships takes the form of inbound marketing, community building on social media, one-to-one outreach, or any number of customized approaches, we help you reach your important audiences, deepen your relationship with each member, and inspire individuals to do business with you.
We began in 1876 in Chicago as the N.M. Johnson Company, “Blank Book Manufacturers and Book Binders.” About the same time as General George Custer and his troops were defeated in the Battle of Little Bighorn in the Montana Territory, our first advertisement appeared in the 1876-77 Chicago Business Directory. When Thomas Stephen Quin joined the company in 1896, the business was renamed Johnson and Quin. Throughout the years, Johnson and Quin has prospered by deploying the latest technologies and adapting to the changing marketplace. The company led the introduction of laser printing to the Midwest in 1979, which soon transformed Johnson and Quin into a full-service direct mail production company. We offer the latest in direct mail production, integrated marketing solutions, data services and personalization technologies, cutting-edge printing with both laser and ink jet printers, and certified data security practices. The innovation, flexibility, and solid financial credentials that propelled us throughout our 139-year history remains at the core of the way we work today.
