Delta Dental of New Jersey has been offering dental benefits programs since 1969. We provide or administer dental coverage to more than 1.5 million people in New Jersey and Connecticut. As a not-for-profit service corporation, our mission is to promote oral health to the greatest number of people by providing accessible dental benefit programs of the highest quality, service, and value. Since 1986, our philanthropic arm, the Delta Dental of New Jersey Foundation, Inc., has worked to promote and assist educational projects devoted to the enhancement of dental health, as well as research programs designed to increase public awareness of the general benefits of good oral health and to improve dental health through the science of dentistry. To date, our Foundation has awarded more than $12.7 million toward dental care for the underserved, dental education programs, and dental research.
