Providing Nearly 100 Years of Compassionate Health Care For over a century, the DCH Health System has had local ownership and leadership, and we continually evolve to offer advanced caring to West Alabama. Today, the DCH Health System includes DCH Regional Medical Center, Northport Medical Center, and Fayette Medical Center. DCH Regional Medical Center is the cornerstone of the DCH system. Fayette Medical Center, through a lease agreement with the DCH Health System, is a 61-bed rural hospital that offers the residents of Fayette County inpatient care, along with sophisticated diagnostic equipment, surgical techniques and specialty clinics. A 122-bed nursing home on site is fully accredited and licensed for intermediate and skilled nursing care.
Albany Med is the region`s only academic health sciences center, serving more than three million people in the 25 counties of northeastern New York and western New England. It incorporates the 734-bed Albany Medical Center Hospital, which offers the widest range of medical and surgical services in the region, and the Albany Medical College, which trains the next generation of doctors, scientists and other healthcare professionals, and which also includes a biomedical research enterprise and the region`s largest physicians practice with 425 doctors. Albany Med works with dozens of community partners to improve the region`s health and quality of life.
