Currently, the UofM offers 17 bachelor`s degrees in more than 250 areas of study, master`s degrees in 54 subjects and doctoral degrees in 25 disciplines. Degree programs at the University of Memphis are divided into 11 colleges and schools – College of Arts and Sciences, Fogelman College of Business and Economics, College of Communication and Fine Arts, College of Education, Herff College of Engineering, the School of Public Health, School of Health Studies, University College, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, Loewenberg School of Nursing, Kemmons Wilson School of Hospitality and Resort Management, and the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders. For academically ambitious and talented students, the Helen Hardin Honors Program at the University of Memphis combines the best of a small liberal arts school with the wide-ranging opportunities of a large, nationally-recognized research university. With 2,104 students participating in fall 2013, the honors program is the largest in the state of Tennessee. In addition to the main campus in the heart of East Memphis, the University of Memphis opened a campus in Jackson, Tenn., in fall 2011 at what was formerly Lambuth University. It also has off-site campuses in Bartlett, Collierville, Cordova, Covington, Dyersburg, Jackson, Millington and Whitehaven. One of the University`s strongest contributions to the community is its alumni. More than 65,000 U of M alumni live within a 40-mile radius of Memphis.
Charleston Southern University is a Christian liberal arts university and is one of South Carolinas largest accredited, independent universities, enrolling 3,600 students. Affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention, the Universitys vision is to be a Christian university nationally recognized for integrating faith in learning, leading and serving. CSU has been named to Americas 100 Best College Buys, Military Friendly Schools, Americas Best Christian Colleges, VA Yellow Ribbon Program and The Presidents Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll. The University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award bachelor, master and doctoral level degrees. Each degree program is combined with a comprehensive liberal arts foundation, which is designed to develop problem-solving and communication skills.
Kaplan University, based in Davenport, Iowa, serves online and campus-based students, offering certificates and associate’s, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees as well as professional law degrees through Concord Law School.
The University of Redlands is a private liberal arts and sciences university located in Redlands, California, United States. The university's main campus is situated on 160 acres (65 ha) near downtown Redlands. Founded in 1907 as a Baptist institution, the school is now independent and ended compulsory religious services in 1972, although it maintains an informal relationship with the group American Baptist Churches USA. In 2012, U.S. News and World Report ranked Redlands 11th among regional universities in the western United States, and in 2010 it was rated 7th in the western United States for its Master's degree programs. The University of Redlands had its roots in the founding of two other American Baptist institutions, California College in Oakland, and Los Angeles University. After the San Francisco earthquake of 1906 damaged the finances of California College, a Baptist commission began exploring the liquidation of both institutions to develop a new institution in Southern California. The Reverend Jasper Newton Field, a Baptist pastor at Redlands, persuaded the Redlands Board of Trade to propose a donation of at least 100,000 dollars and 40 acres (16 ha) for an interdenominational campus (on land donated by layman Mr. K.C. Wells). On June 27, 1907 the Commission voted all in favor of the Redlands proposal.
