On September 27, 2022, FedNat Insurance Company ("FNIC") was placed into receivership by the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (OIR). The Florida Department of Financial Services (DFS) now has authority over FNICs operations; including bank accounts. The gap between "the haves" and the "have nots" is getting wider. Without access to sports and structured play, kids miss critical benefits, including physical health, social-emotional growth, and academic development. Emergent Issue!!! COVID restrictions further limited access to organized sports and extracurricular activities causing kids to lose an entire year of life-skill development, social interactions, and academic interruptions. ShareWaves is targeting several ways to help kids recover by delivering tangible impact to children suffering and delivering programs of significance to kids in need. 5 Key Initiatives: 1.
