CrimShield updates member records annually using the same extensive background check that was initially performed. If there has been a change in the qualifications of a member due to criminal or fraudulent behavior, the member will receive a denial letter and their membership will be cancelled immediately. Many criminal cases take months or even years to resolve. If Crimshield discovers a pending case against a current member, the member will be denied access to the system until the case is complete and an outcome is reported.
