Allergen Research

Aimmune is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company advancing a new therapeutic approach, including the development of proprietary product candidates, for the treatment of peanut and other food allergies. Our mission is to improve the lives of people with food allergies by developing and commercializing proprietary desensitization therapies that safely and reliably protect them from accidental exposure to food allergens. We aim to address food allergies by providing a treatment option that goes beyond the current protocols of avoiding exposure to food allergens and carrying epinephrine for administration in case of accidental exposure. Our CODIT™ system is based on extensive independent scientific research demonstrating that most patients with food allergies can become desensitized to the allergens, or proteins, in a particular food through the oral administration of gradually increasing amounts of the allergens. In oral immunotherapy (OIT), a very small amount of an allergen is administered on a daily basis and then regularly increased until desensitization to a certain amount of the allergen has been achieved. We plan to develop and commercialize standardized, pharmaceutical-grade food allergens for our CODIT™ (characterized oral desensitization immunotherapy) system, our system for OIT. Our lead product candidate, AR101, is a standardized, complex mixture of 13 naturally occurring proteins and pharmaceutical-grade ingredients that, with the CODIT system of gradual, controlled updosing and ongoing maintenance dosing, has obtained meaningful desensitization to peanut allergens in our initial clinical studies.

Amare

Amare Global creates a holistic mental wellness platform that connects a purpose-driven community of passionate people. Our vision is to lead the mental wellness revolution. Founder and CEO of Amare Global, Hiep Tran, began his entrepreneurial journey at 23 when he decided that medical school was not for him. He started working for a payments processing company. “For the next 5 years, I surrounded myself with the most successful people I knew, in order to grow and learn from them. Eventually that payments company I was working for was sold. I reached an important crossroads: stay comfortable in my current position or build something for myself. In 2008, together with a partner, we invested all of our savings and co-founded a new company: Meritus Payment Solutions. We started from humble beginnings with five employees in 2008 and surged to over 100 employees by 2014 when we were acquired by Optimal Payments. During those 6 years, I fell in love with helping people achieve their own life-changing success. However, work always came first, family second, and personal health a distant third. I took my health for granted until the consequences became real. Thankfully, I pulled through instead of succumbing to these challenges. I channeled the experience positively, to change my life and learn as much as I could about health and nutrition. The result was a newfound passion.” Thus, Amare Global was created. We focus on the excellence and integrity throughout our product development, people development, and the customer experience. Ultimately, we strive to create products that will inspire people to become better versions of themselves. Amare means "To Love" in Latin and we believe in promoting Love for one`s self, as well as a powerful connection with others. By empowering people to connect through our innovative products and platform, we will grow together and reach beyond our limits.

Genoa

In July 2014, Genoa Healthcare and QoL meds combined to create Genoa, a QoL Healthcare Company, the nation`s leading behavioral health specialty pharmacy company. This merger brought together two pharmacy organizations with proven track records for excellent service to individuals with mental illness. Both companies had strong reputations for outstanding customer service, flexibility and delivering true value to their consumers and partners. By uniting their strengths – like best practices and expertise – the combined company was able to better serve individuals and the health organizations that care for them over the past year. Genoa has been serving the behavioral health community for over 15 years. The company now provides specialty behavioral health and long-term care pharmacy services to more than 500,000 individuals annually, operating over 285 pharmacies in 39 states and the District of Columbia and filling more than 9 million prescriptions per year. Although Genoa specializes in serving behavioral health consumers, we are a full-service pharmacy. This means we take care of all the medication needs of our consumers, including prescriptions written by psychiatrists, primary care providers, or other specialty prescribers. Genoa remains flexible to the many behavioral health and primary care delivery models across the country and developed services within our pharmacies to meet the needs of those specific models. None of our service models or pharmacies are the same. We take pride in not being a "cookie cutter" organization, and continue to seek opportunities nationwide to help behavioral health communities with their pharmacy services.
