Martin Health System based in Stuart, Fla. comprises three hospitals, one MediCenter, a free-standing emergency center, and numerous outpatient centers and clinics. The system is a not-for-profit, community-based health care organization that offers preventive, primary and acute hospital care, as well as cancer care, a heart center, wellness and rehabilitation services, and much more. The Orthopaedic Specialty Center at Martin Health System has earned the Gold Seal of Approval from The Joint Commission for disease-specific care certification for joint replacement of the knee and hip. North Kansas City hospital stands high on the hill of a 69-acre campus which consists of the Hospital, a 451- licensed bed, acute-care facility; the Pavilion encompassing patient rooms, outpatient services, Hospital staff and physician offices and a conference center; Health Center, the location for Home Health Services and Signature Psychiatric Health; two physician office buildings, known as Medical Plaza and Professional Building; and NorthCare Hospice House, the Northland`s only hospice house. North Kansas City Hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission. The Hospital has received numerous awards, certifications and accolades. This includes: Chest Pain Center, Wound Healing Center, diabetes education, respiratory care, organ donation, home health and case management. Our partnership with The University of Kansas Cancer Center gives patients in the Northland access to NCI-designated clinical trials. Through another partnership with Children`s Mercy Hospital, neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners are onsite and actively involved in leading the care in the Northland`s only level III neonatal intensive care unit. We have a medial staff of 550 physicians representing 45 specialties.
