PHL is a large hub airport, serving approximately 81,000 daily and nearly 30 million annual passengers. As of fall 2018, 26 airlines, including all major domestic carriers, offer more than 500 daily departures to nearly 140 destinations worldwide. Located 7 miles from downtown Philadelphia, the Airport is situated on 2,583 acres and is easily accessible and convenient to many tourist sites, business centers and cultural hubs. The Airport is self-sustaining and uses no local tax dollars.
