Surgent Networks LLC was formed in 2011 by Newfound Communications, Inc., a leading provider of call recording, interactive voice response (IVR) and dialing solutions for the telecommunications industry. Surgent was initiated in order to focus efforts on nurturing and growing the hosted VoIP IVR and messaging platform originally developed by Newfound.
