Silver Bay Property Corp., or our Manager's operating subsidiary, is a wholly owned subsidiary of our Manager. Our Manager and our Manager's operating subsidiary together provide us with a comprehensive suite of investment, acquisition and property management services, utilizing the combined expertise of Pine River and Provident. Silver Bay is headquartered in Minnetonka, Minnesota and has elected to be taxed as a REIT for U.S. federal tax purposes.
