Rapid City is located in the Black Hills of South Dakota and gets its name from Rapid Creek which flows through the City Greenway. Known as the Star of the West and the City of Presidents it is the county seat of Pennington County and the second largest City in South Dakota with a thriving community of nearly 70,000.
