The mission of the Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services (DIFS) is to provide a business climate that promotes economic growth while ensuring that the insurance and financial services industries are safe, sound and entitled to public confidence. In addition, the Department provides consumer protection, outreach and education services to Michigan citizens.
The City of Knox is located in Center Township and is the county seat for Starke County, Indiana. The population was 3,721 in the 2000 census. The city was founded in 1851 and named after General Henry Knox. Knox was also the home of Indiana Governor Henry F. Schricker. The City of Knox even has its own flag, designed by Raluca Fodorean.

On March 18, 1816 Pittsburgh was incorporated as a city by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. 2016 marks the bicentennial celebration for the city. The Ohio Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is committed to providing quality centralized services, specialized support and innovative solutions to state agencies, boards and commissions as well as local governments and state universities. DAS colleagues from more than 40 program areas work together to serve Ohio government customers, who in turn directly serve the interests of Ohio citizens. Our colleagues procure goods and services, develop and implement information technology solutions, recruit and train personnel, promote equal access to the state workforce, lease and manage office space, process payroll, print and deliver mail to state agencies, print publications and perform a variety of other services.
