Under the leadership of Sheriff Scott Israel, the Broward Sheriff`s Office (BSO) has roughly 5,500 employees, including more than 2,800 certified deputies and more 600 fire rescue professionals. BSO is the largest full-service, fully accredited public safety agency in the United States.
