Real Salt Lake is an American professional soccer club based in Sandy, Utah that competes in Major League Soccer. RSL was one of two expansion teams awarded in 2004 that began play in MLS in 2005. They currently play their home games at Rio Tinto Stadium. Real Salt Lake won the MLS Cup in 2009, reached the final of the 2010-11 CONCACAF Champions League, and won the Western Conference in 2013.
