For 125 years, Chicago Commons` mission has been to partner with individuals, families, and communities to overcome poverty, discrimination, and isolation. Chicago Commons enables families to break the cycle of poverty by providing early education, strengthening parents and caring for the elderly, while also advocating for their equal chance at success. From our first settlement house, we`ve centered ourselves in underserved communities to give our neighbors the tools and skills they need to reach their greatest potential.
