Housing discrimination occurs when someone treats you unfairly because of your protected class in the rental, sale, insuring, or financing of a home. Protected classes include race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability, familial status, military status (state protection), and sexual orientation (local protection). All who seek housing should have an equal opportunity to rent, purchase, finance, or insure the property they choose. If you feel that you have been treated unfairly we will actively listen to your complaint. When necessary, we can investigate and pursue enforcement action.
