Fremont`s schools are guided by a carefully developed Comprehensive Continuous Improvement Plan. Fremont is proud of its comprehensive course offerings including Advanced Placement, Post Secondary Education Option classes, Gifted programming, full-day kindergarten, tutoring programs and summer programming. Fremont works closely and partners with Vanguard-Sentinel Career and Technology Centers and Terra State Community College. Fremont offers a wealth of co-curricular and extracurricular opportunities. Fremont`s athletic programs are respected state-wide and many of its athletic facilities, including a newly-constructed natatorium, are models of excellence. Its Performing and Visual Arts programs (K-12) are recognized for their quality every year. Thanks to the support of the Fremont community, a newly constructed middle school was opened on January 19, 2012. Fremont City Schools achieved an Excellent rating on the State of Ohio District Report Card for the 2011-2012 school year.

The Lynchburg City School Division began operation on April 5, 1871 and continues to be recognized as a leader of education in Virginia. Lynchburg City Schools offer educational services to more than 8,000 students enrolled in preschool through adult classes in two high schools, three middle schools, and eleven elementary schools. Our elementary schools provide an optimal academic environment and accelerated learning opportunities. On the high school level, courses within the instructional program range in level of difficulty to meet the students` needs, interests, and academic abilities. Advanced classes, including advanced placement and dual-enrollment courses for college credit, are offered in all academic areas. Co-curricular programs include eleven boys` interscholastic varsity sports, nine girls` interscholastic varsity sports, and cultural arts programs including arts, drama, band, orchestra, and vocal ensembles.
