PSEG Long Island is a subsidiary of Public Service Enterprise Group Incorporated (PEG), a publicly traded diversified energy company with annual revenues of $10.4 billion and operates the Long Island Power Authority’s transmission and distribution system under a 12-year contract. We pledge to build a Long Island utility with PSEG`s same record of service, reliability and customer satisfaction. It will take some time to make all the improvements we’re planning, but in the end, we will create a utility of which Long Islanders can be proud. Keeping the lights on isn’t just a job for us: It’s our mission.
Florida Municipal Power Agency (FMPA) is a wholesale power agency owned by 31 municipal electric utilities. FMPA`s mission is to provide power that is competitively priced, reliable and clean, as well as provide value-added services for its owner-customers. Our members serve approximately two million Floridians. Each FMPA member is locally owned and operated, but they work together on common needs. For example, by coordinating the power supply needs of several communities, the utilities can build larger, more efficient power plants and share operating expenses, all of which reduces the cost of electricity. FMPA has five power supply projects. We supply all the power needs for 13 members and some of the power needs for seven members. Some cities do not purchase power from FMPA, but utilize other services from the Agency.
