Established in 1960, the Foundation, a nonprofit corporation, today manages an endowment of more than $470 million and has total assets exceeding $600 million (as of September 30, 2014). The Foundation is governed by an elected Board of Trustees, whose members serve as advocates for the University, its colleges, programs and units.
