Collier Health Services, Inc. (d/b/a Healthcare Network of Southwest Florida) was founded as a nonprofit organization in 1977 by a group of community leaders to address the health issues of migrant and seasonal farm workers, rural poor and other citizens in Collier County. Their first facilities were two small trailers in Immokalee. From the start, the nonprofit was committed to providing basic medical and dental healthcare services at an affordable cost while ensuring dignity and respect to each individual served.
Sun Country Health Region (SCHR) covers the southeast portion of Saskatchewan, Canada from the Manitoba border to the U.S. Border, encompassing serene prairie and park land. The Region was created by the Saskatchewan government, along with 11 other regions in the province, in 2002. There are 28 facilities and 38 public health programs for 56,529 people in SCHR. The Region covers 33,239 square kilometres. The goal of this Region is to continue to build a province of healthy people and communities, while providing effective, comprehensive and equitable range of services.
