The City of Ballwin is a fourth class city under Missouri law with a Mayor-Alderman-City Administrator form of government. The Board of Aldermen consists of eight members, two Aldermen are elected from each of four wards. The Mayor and Aldermen serve two year terms, with four Aldermen being elected each year. The City Administrator is the chief administrative official of the City and is responsible to the Mayor and Aldermen for the administration of the City government. The City is organized into four departments: Administration, Parks and Recreation, Police, and Public Works. The Board of Aldermen meet on the second and fourth Mondays of each month at 7:00 p.m. All meetings are held in the Board Room of the Ballwin Police Department, 300 Park Drive, and are open to the public. All citizens are urged to attend.
