Great Western Oil and Gas Company, LLC (GWOG), is headquartered in Denver, Colorado, with field operations based in Windsor, Colorado. GWOG commenced activity late in 2005. The DJ Basin is a 70,000 square mile hydrocarbon-rich area extending over northeast Colorado into southeast Wyoming and southwest Nebraska. More than 52,000 wells have been drilled in the DJ with an extensive inventory of development and upside potential remaining. Horizontal drilling and multi-stage hydraulic fracture completions in the Niobrara have ignited a new wave of activity and brought substantial results. The DJ Basin offers several competitive strengths; lower cost development, low lifting costs, long-lived production and reserves, existing gathering/processing/transportation infrastructure in place and a well established service sector presence.
