The James Irvine Foundation is a private, nonprofit grantmaking foundation dedicated to expanding opportunity for the people of California. Since 1937, the Foundation has provided more than $1.5 billion in grants to over 3,600 nonprofit organizations across the state. In January 2016, the Foundation announced that new grantmaking initiatives would focus on expanding economic and political opportunity for families and young adults who are working but struggling with poverty.

NMHIC leads the planning and coordination of the health information exchange (HIE) network. LCF Research leads a collaborative of three organizations that manage the New Mexico Health Information Technology Regional Extension Center. NM HITREC supports providers throughout the state to achieve meaningful use and improve patient care.
