Greater Victoria Harbour Authority (GVHA) was incorporated as a not-for-profit society in February 2002, and began operating its four port facilities, divested from Transport Canada, in April 2002. Acting as an advocate for the harbour, the GVHA is working to improve its function as a working harbour, and a marine transportation centre with a strong focus on tourism.

During these difficult economic times, the level of need in our community continues to rise, yet at Goodwill the spirit of success triumphs. We deeply appreciate those who provide support. The company started in 1965 with eight employees and a $60,000 budget in a time when there were few community organizations helping people with disabilities. Today, we have more than 850 employees and a budget of $27+ million. We expanded our services in recent years with the opening of nine Job Connection Centers.
