The HR Vision for Black & Veatch involves strategically partnering with the business units to build and maintain a corporate culture that enhances the identification, management, development and engagement of global talent while the HR mission for the organization is to provide high quality, comprehensive, and cost competitive human resource services and solutions to help Black & Veatch better manage its business.
Primary Purpose:
Develop and provide an integrated strategy for delivery of global HR systems including security administration oversight Implement program while leading and directing team of data administrators, system specialists, and analysts in the U.S., while working closely with professionals maintaining workforce data around the globe to ensure consistency, data integrity and scalable system integrations. Effectively manage Level 1 and Level 2 support processes and transactions for HR service delivery and HRIS oversight. Direct the allocation of assets and resources assigned to transaction management in a shared services center environment to achieve efficient use of resources and highest levels of customer satisfaction. Work closely with HR Leadership Team, functional area program owners and SME`s, and Business Partners to ensure seamless integration and optimization of HR programs as transition occurs to a more scalable business model.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop and provide an integrated strategy for delivery of global HR systems and processes
a) Ensure HR IT Requirements are gathered and in alignment to support of HR Strategy Plan
b) Provide input for the HR Process Roadmap
c) Partner with Finance and IT to drive system development
• Strategic Advisor to the HR Lead Team to align and prioritize the Global HR Processes with the overarching HR Strategy and Budgets.
• Lead development and transformation that supports a global and dynamic HR operations support model.
• Influence cross-functional seamless delivery and review of each HR initiative applying proven project management disciplines.
• Provide model and oversight for due diligence in the event of a sale; merger or acquisition of talent and related records transitions and engaging functional leads as needed.
a) Advise on data requirements to transfer data seamlessly and map to BV and/or Vendor Systems
• Create reliable framework for reporting in compliance with HIPAA, Safe Harbor, EEO, etc.
• Understand the latest technology trends in our business and HR and implications to B&V.
• Drive on-going process innovation and SLA framework to ensure success.
• Provide Global oversight of HR Processes and Project/Program management oversight.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 5-10 years` experience as a leader with accountability for Global HR Data Mgmt/Operations.
• Experience leading both a project and project team, while engaging stakeholders and partners.
• Experience working within a fast-paced, complex, dynamic, multi-cultural business environment.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
• Improve efficiencies/costs balance while enhancing professionals` experiences with each career cycle event supported by HR.
• Provide infrastructure and process ensuring government reporting and compliance with laws including HIPAA; Safe Harbor; EEO; etc.
• Deliver effective records management for personnel including archival support.
• Drive automation and digitizing for all possible HR related data and processes.
• Develop Tier Zero response solution to professionals` inquiries and issues and provide escalation/resolution closure.
• Partner with Payroll and Tax for accurate and timely payroll delivery.
• Create framework and supporting tools for functional owners to execute and administer HR programs and initiatives.
• Create compelling business cases and RFPs for HR IT needs.
• Audit existing internal info systems and identify current usage, user needs, and opportunities for improvement.
