For over 50 years, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) has dedicated its services to education, patient care and research for West Texas and beyond. Westchester Community College was founded in 1946 as the New York State Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences in White Plains. In 1957, the County of Westchester bought the 360-acre John Hartford estate in Valhalla and designated 218 acres for the community college.
SUNY Orange, or Orange County Community College, is a unit of the State University of New York (SUNY) offering two-year associates degrees and certificates. The college has two campuses in Middletown, New York and in Newburgh, New York. The college also offers additional courses at Warwick, Port Jervis, and Central Valley. The college is one of the top ten two-year nursing colleges in the SUNY system. SUNY Orange is accredited by Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. The College employs an open enrollment policy in which any student who applies for admittance to the College is accepted. SUNY Orange also provides a wide array of non-credit classes for community members seeking personal enrichment, career advancement, technical or professional certifications or additional training.
South Georgia Technical College`s main campus is located in Sumter County, six miles northeast of Americus. The college is 135 miles south of Atlanta, between Highways 19 and 49 on South Georgia Tech Parkway. It has a satellite campus in Cordele. It has been spotlighted as the top-ranked community college in Georgia for 2017 by two different organizations. South Georgia Technical College is one of only two technical colleges in Georgia with on-campus housing and a full service cafeteria. The college offers over 200 different associate degree, diploma and short-term technical certificate of credit educational opportunities.
