If you are having what you suspect is cardiac or pulmonary distress, Weems Emergency staff are ready to assist you within minutes. Recent studies show the average Weems patient is seen in the emergency room and released within one hour and fifty minutes of his/her coming through the hospital door. Our hospital also has 25 inpatient beds which are available for 23 hour extended observation, acute in-patient care and short-term skilled nursing care & rehabilitation.

CAMH combines clinical care, research, education, policy development and health promotion to help transform the lives of people affected by mental health and addiction issues. As a teaching hospital, CAMH provides education, training, internships and residencies for students. People training to work in the health care field, including psychiatrists, psychologists, pharmacists, nurses, occupational therapists, social workers and laboratory technologists, come to CAMH for practical experience.
